How cremation diamonds
At Heart In Diamond, technologies are mixed with a generous portion of love and dedication. The production process evolves around carbon. The purification process begins by extracting the carbon from hair or ashes. Then we combine it with a diamond seed, creating the growing foundation of the future diamond.
The next step of manufacturing the diamond is placing it into the heart of a HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) machine. This machine shapes the future carat size and color of your diamond. Once the growing process is complete, the diamond gets cut, polished, and certified in accordance with the highest industry standards.

What is a memorial diamond?
Memorial diamonds are real diamonds that have been made from cremated ashes or hair. They’re also referred to as “synthetic diamonds”, “cremation diamonds”, “laboratory-grown diamonds”, or “cultured-diamonds”. Memorial diamonds are typically grown in a laboratory setting using equipment that mimics the conditions found in Earth’s mantle that create natural diamonds.
How much is a memorial service?
A typical cost for a memorial service in the United States is around $6,000. However, it’s important to distinguish the actual cost of the funeral from the additional charges associated with death care services. The $6,000 figure is in fact the average cost paid to the funeral home for their services. Realistically, an American family could easily spend $8,000 to $10,000 on a funeral when it’s all said and done. This price can be broken down into three categories: funeral home costs, cemetery costs and the cost for a headstone.
The ashes to diamonds process explained
While it might sound complex and difficult, turning cremated ashes to diamonds is a surprisingly simple and straightforward process, as long as you’ve got the proper equipment and expertise.
Despite the simplicity of the technique, the sparkling, glittering result is anything but simple. Diamonds made from ashes are every bit as spectacular as mined diamonds, with the same glamorous appearance and strong durability. The only difference is that cremation diamonds are more meaningful and personal.
